Description
1996-D Nickel--Saddle Strike--MS 64. The planchet was first struck 60% off center. It then flipped over to receive a second stretch strike that is approximately 90% off center. Interestingly enough, this piece displays two dates, one on each side of the planchet. Milky-gray haziness overlays both sides.
