Error 1999-D Delaware Quarter, Struck on a Planchet Prepared for a Nickel
1999-D 25C Delaware Statehood Quarter--On 5C Planchet--MS64 NGC. Erroneously impressed on a Nickel planchet, both sides, however, display crisp striking definition over all features save for those at the lower obverse and upper reverse borders. The latter are off the flan. A bright, untoned near-Gem with only a few trivial bagmarks.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 249E, PCGS# 5945, GSID# 5767)
