Amazing 1999-P Connecticut Quarter Error
Struck on a Feeder Finger Fragment, 0.13 gm

1999-P 25C Connecticut--Struck on a Feeder Finger Fragment--MS65 NGC. 0.13 gm. A surprising, tiny error piece that is nonetheless fully identifiable by date and mint. The obverse of this fragment shows the "P" mintmark prominently, and on the reverse, the rightmost branches of a tree and the letters (C)UT are present; these could only correspond to the Connecticut design, struck only in 1999.
