Description
1999-P Pennsylvania Quarter, MS64
On an Experimental Planchet
1999-P 25C Pennsylvania Quarter -- Struck on an Experimental
Planchet -- MS64 PCGS. The manganese-brass planchets for the
Sacagawea dollar become available during 1999, earlier than the
dies for that design. The planchets were tested for their
suitability for coinage, using Philadelphia dies for the five
different state quarter designs. Examples of any design seldom
appear. This lustrous green-gold example has excellent eye appeal.
