Double Struck, Off Center 1999-P Anthony Dollar
1999-P SBA$ Anthony Dollar--Double Struck, Second Strike 40% Off Center--MS65 PCGS. The first strike was normal, but the piece failed to eject and was struck a second time, widely off center toward 5 o'clock. The second strike is at 4 o'clock relative to the first strike. Both mintmarks show, and the date is confirmed by the tail of the second 9 from the first strike, which is mostly effaced but still ghostly visible.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 9581, GSID# 7987)
