    Description

2000-D 5C Jefferson Nickel -- Doubled Denomination on a Struck Cent -- MS66 Red PCGS. An impressive full Red example of a scarce double denomination combination. Lincoln faces northeast relative to Jefferson. Lincoln's ear is present above Jefferson's chin, and the Lincoln Memorial is nearly vertical (but leans left) relative to Monticello. The nickel date and mintmark are clear. Much of the cent date and mintmark can be discerned in the back of Jefferson's hair. Struck aligned with the collar die at 6:30, with much of TRUST, LIBERTY, and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA off the flan.
