    2000-P Sacagawea Dollar, MS64
    Struck on a Maryland Quarter

2000-P $1 Sacagawea Dollar -- Overstruck on a 2000-P Maryland Quarter -- MS64 NGC. Light straw-gold toning adorns this lustrous and well-preserved double denomination error. The color and reeded edge provide the initial indications of its error status. On the obverse, QUARTER DOLLAR, STATES, and IN GOD WE TRUST from the quarter undertype are readable, along with the P mintmark below the baby and the profile of Washington on Sacagawea's forehead. The reverse of the dollar shows a faint but legible THE OLD LINE STATE, along with MARY near the left wingtip and the 2000 date below AMERICA.
