Description
2001-D 5C Jefferson Nickel -- Double Denomination on a Struck Cent -- MS64 Red PCGS. A splendid orange and lilac-red near-Gem of this dramatic mint error. Lincoln is nearly upside down relative to Jefferson. The peripheral legends are partial except for LIBERTY, the date, and mintmark, which are complete. The cent date is faint, but visible (although inverted) on the bridge of Jefferson's nose.Auction Info
