Description

2005 Cent on a 2005-P Dime
MS68, Considered Unique

2005 Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a 2005-P Dime -- MS68 NGC. This unique 2005 cent struck over a dime has a singularly striking appearance that sums up the appeal of double-denomination errors. The Lincoln cent obverse has the words ONE DIME arcing up and to the right from 6 o'clock to 3 o'clock, while the reverse has a bold impression of Roosevelt's head framing the Lincoln Memorial. Luster is frosty and bright in turns, and there is a touch of peach patina.
