Description
2007-D 25C Idaho Statehood Quarter -- Double Struck, Second Strike 80% Off Center -- MS65 PCGS. The first strike was normal, but the coin was struck again, far off center toward 7:30, at 7:30 relative to the first strike. Both clock positions are for the Washington side. No planchet was fed between strikes, but the second strike exhibits a granular struck-through area across the upper half of the statehood side, where ESTO PERPETUA would be. The date and mintmark are present from the first strike. The second strike shows the right two-thirds of the date.
