    Description

    Half-Ounce 2013 Gold Eagle, MS69
    Finned Obverse Rim

2013 $25 Half-Ounce Gold Eagle -- Finned Obverse Rim -- MS69 PCGS. A steep "fin" ascends between 11 o'clock and 1:30, then descends between 1:30 and 4 o'clock. Apparently, the collar die was incorrectly installed or became partly loose. Such errors virtually never escape the Mint. Fully struck and pristine with satin luster. Designated as First Strike by PCGS.
