A matched pair of 1999 1C Cent errors, 1999 MS65 Red PCGS (Coin #2) and 1999 MS66 Red PCGS (Coin #1). Two Cent planchets entered the die chamber at the same time. Coin #1 was broadstruck, with 45% of the obverse indented at 6 o'clock by Coin #2. Coin #2, therefore, is uniface and struck 55% off center toward 12 o'clock. Both examples of this mated error pair managed to escape the mint and were reunited for posterity.
