Description
1993 Quarters--Off-Center Chain Strike--MS 64 ANACS. A mated pair, and very rare as such, made even rarer in this large denomination. This error is created when two blanks fall partly into the collar so they touch each other side by side. When the blanks are struck, they each receive part of the die design. As a result, each piece will have a straight edge where the two blanks meet and flatten against each other.
