Kennedy Half Dollar, MS65 Red and Brown
Struck on a Copper Cent Planchet

No Date 50C Kennedy Half Dollar -- Struck on Copper Cent Planchet -- MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. Exceptionally well preserved for a wrong planchet error of this type, showing no distracting abrasions. Mostly copper-red surfaces display overlays of amber toning, accounting for the Red and Brown designation. The small cent planchet is aligned with the lower left rim (relative to the obverse) of the half dollar dies, and the 19 in the date is readable. The remainder of the date runs off the flan.
