Description
Undated Three Cent Silver, Full Brockage Obverse
Undated 3CS Three Cent Silver--Full Brockage Obverse--AU 58 PCGS. Fully and sharply struck on the reverse, a previously struck coin prevented the obverse from coming into contact with the hammer die. The definition of the brockage is quite sharp and both sides display original silver-lilac iridescence. Although undated, this coin was struck between 1854 and 1872 as evidenced by the olive sprig and bundle of arrows in the reverse design. A rare error to find on a three cent silver. From the Dr. Jeff Hosford Collection.
