Double Struck Eisenhower Dollar
Undated $1 Eisenhower Dollar--Double Struck, 2nd Strike 20% Off Center--MS62 PCGS. After being struck once, this coin failed to eject fully from the press and was struck a second time 20% off center at 6 o'clock. The lower obverse and upper reverse features are missing, but LIBERTY and the denomination ONE DOLLAR are evident on both impressions. A golden-gray example with an as struck flaw (in the planchet?) below the word ONE on the second impression.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2584, PCGS# 7406, GSID# 7913)
