    MS63 Roosevelt Dime Error
Flipover Double Struck on a Silver Planchet

Undated 10C Roosevelt Dime--Flipover Double Strike on a Silver Fragment--MS63 PCGS. 11 grains. A small fragment of a silver planchet found its way into the coining dies. Upon striking, the fragment momentarily adhered to one of the dies and subsequently flipped over and did not eject, thus receiving another blow of the press. This resulted in both obverse and reverse details being visible on each side. Fully brilliant and highly lustrous, a highly unusual error coin.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23KJ, PCGS# 5082)

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
