Error Large Cent With a Full Obverse Brockage
Undated 1C Large Cent--Full 1st Strike Brockage Obverse--XF40 PCGS. The reverse was properly struck, if somewhat off center with softening definition toward the right periphery. The obverse, on the other hand, was impressed into the reverse of another coin that had just been struck. A mirror image of the reverse of that coin is now visible where the obverse of this coin should be. There are no mentionable abrasions on either side, and the surfaces present a smooth, medium brown appearance.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 224Z, PCGS# 1591, Greysheet# 870)
