Description
Undated Kennedy Copper-Nickel Half Dollar--60% Off Center, Strike Through--MS 64. The off center striking did not catch enough metal to create a full impression and, as a result, the peripheral details are noticeably elongated and drawn toward the unstruck part of the planchet. In addition, the struck area is rough around the edges with a split in the planchet. The central reverse over the shield and the eagle appears to have been struck through a long, thin object.
