    Kennedy Half Dollar, MS64 Red and Brown
    Struck on a Copper Cent Blank

    Undated Kennedy Half Dollar -- Struck on a Cent Blank -- MS64 Red and Brown NGC. 3.07 gm. The date is off the flan, but the coin was struck before the 1982 transition to copper-plated zinc cent planchets. Aligned with the collar at 2:30 with the right-side legends and much of Kennedy's profile off the flan. Lustrous and smooth with the initial orange-red color only slightly mellowed.
