Major Obverse Die Break
Undated Roosevelt Dime -- Major Obverse Die Break -- MS63
PCGS. The date is obliterated on this dime -- as is the entire
bottom-right half of the obverse design, thanks to a major die
break that must have seen half the die fall away. The reverse of
this gold-tinged error shows a similar void at the corresponding
place, as metal rushed to fill the lost-die gap and so did not
squeeze into the fine details.
