Undated Silver S-Mint Roosevelt Dime, Struck on a Struck Fragment
Undated San Francisco Silver Dime--Struck Fragment--MS62 NGC. Whispers of pink, orange, and silver-gray patina visit the unworn surfaces of this roughly wedge-shaped struck fragment. While no part of the date is visible, an 'S' mintmark is present just to the left of the torch. An intriguing error piece that hails from somewhere in the decade from 1946 to 1955.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23KL, PCGS# 5084, GSID# 4691)
