Struck 45% Off-Center
Undated San Francisco War Nickel -- Struck 45% Off Center --
MS66 NGC. Ex: Brown Collection. This highly lustrous war nickel
is struck 45% off-center toward 3 o'clock. The date and LIBERTY are
off the flan but much of the mintmark is present, though partially
obscured by one of the holder's tabs. The surfaces are essentially
pristine, since minor granularity on Jefferson's cheek is from a
