Struck on a Dime Planchet
Undated San Francisco War Nickel -- Struck on a Dime Planchet --
AU55 PCGS. The large S mintmark looms over Monticello, but the
date is off the flan. Aligned with the collar at 9 o'clock, this
off metal nickel displays most of the design except for the
right-side legends. Toned steel-blue and caramel-gold with smooth
