35% Off-Center on Type One Cent Planchet
Undated Washington Quarter--35% Off-Center on a Type One Cent
Planchet--MS62 Red PCGS. A cent planchet without upset rim,
likely brass or bronze composition since there is no evidence of a
zinc interior, was struck by quarter dies of unknown date. Uniface
obverse, struck widely off center toward 8 o'clock. Parallel
abrasions on the hair account for the grade.
