Dramatic Foldover Strike Zinc Lincoln Cent
MS65 Red and Brown

Undated Zinc Lincoln Cent--Foldover Strike--MS65 Red and Brown NGC. 2.5 gm. Areas of zinc-blue shine through otherwise reddish-orange and mahogany surfaces. This piece was struck with the planchet nearly vertical between the dies, and the impression was only partial, leaving the center of the piece blank and folded in on itself, forming a complete loop. A fascinating error.
