    Pair of Colorado Industrial Association Award Medals
    Territorial Era, 1873 Silver and 1874 Gold

    Two Colorado Industrial Association Medals. The common design has an agriculture-industrial-mining landscape on the obverse with COLORADO INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION above, ribbon with OMNIA VINCIT LABOR below, and the reverse an agricultural wreath with AWARDED TO just within the top and a shield at the bottom on which a date is inscribed. The 1873 silver medal, 54 mm, 64 gm, is inscribed on the reverse "Wood Lode / The Best / Uranium Ore," date 1873 on the shield, while the 1874 gold medal, 54 mm, 66.3 gm, is inscribed "Richard Pearce. / Display / Metallurgical Products," date 1874 on the shield. Comes with display case that has initials R.D. on the top.
