1787 CENT Fugio Cent, STATES UNITED, 4 Cinquefoils, Pointed
Rays, MS64 Brown PCGS. N. 13-X, W-6855, R.2. Newman 13-X is one
of the Bank of New York Hoard varieties. That hoard is the source
of nearly all Mint State Fugio cents that are known today. This
Choice Mint State piece has charcoal planchet flaws as struck.
Traces of faded mint red appear on the obverse of this lovely early
Federal issue. Listed on page 82 of the 2022 Guide Book.
