Not Sold Description
Key 1856 Flying Eagle Cent, Business Strike Format
1856 1C MS64 PCGS. Snow-9. This is a fully defined near-Gem whose otherwise richly colored, medium brown surfaces reveal bright electric-blue and lilac undertones as the coin rotates into the light. Every feature rises powerfully above the smooth surfaces, and, were it not for a few flecks of carbon over the left reverse periphery, this attractive example would probably net an even higher grade. Worthy of a strong bid.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 2013, GSID# 15310)
