1857 1C Doubled Die Obverse MS63 NGC. VP-001, FS-002, Snow-4. Wide die doubling on the first S in STATES is a pick-up point for this popular Cherrypickers' variety. This boldly impressed tan-gold cent is smooth aside from a luster graze above the left (facing) wing.
