1857 1C Doubled Die Obverse MS63 NGC. VP-001, FS-002, Snow-4. The eagle's beak and the CA in AMERICA are among the die doubled elements. A sharply struck and satiny tan-brown piece with pleasing surfaces. VP-001 Census: 8 in 63, 13 finer (5/07).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 2017, Base PCGS# 2016, GSID# 15321)
