Description
Choice 1857 Flying Eagle Cent
1857 1C MS64 NGC. Rich orange and tan shadings dominate this crisply struck Choice example. A great example of this first Flying Eagle cent. Unlike many 1857 cents, this piece is strongly struck on the eagle's head, the tail feathers, and also the wreath. A lovely representative of this short-lived type.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2276, PCGS# 2016, GSID# 15313)
