1857 1C MS64 NGC. This softly lustrous, tan-gold cent is sharply struck, with pleasing color and minimally marked surfaces. Numerous examples of the 1857 exist at near-Gem level, which is an optimal collecting grade for many Flying Eagle specialists, given the large price difference between MS64 and MS65 coins.
