Description

1857 1C MS64 PCGS. A lustrous and boldly struck representative with especially crisp details on the reverse. Only the letters of UNITED STATES are slightly weak, and die doubling is noted along the upper edges. Pleasing accents of champagne and gold modify the tan coloration. Scattered carbon flecks on each side and minor abrasions in the obverse field limit the grade. Housed in a green label PCGS holder.(Registry values: N1793)
