1857 1C MS64 PCGS. This well struck and lustrous near-Gem has slightly deeper caramel-gold toning on the reverse than on the obverse. Marks are minimal though the tail feathers and cotton leaves show minor incompleteness.Ex: Dr. Gary Lattimer Collection (Heritage, 6/2002), lot 5251.
