Wonderful Gem 1857 Flying Eagle Cent
1857 1C MS65 NGC. The 1857 Flying Eagle cent was popular with the general public and saved in large quantities. This lovely Gem has softly frosted mint luster and the surfaces display pinkish-tan and golden iridescence. A bit softly struck, as often seen on this date.Ex: Lewis (Tahoe) Collection (Heritage, 6/2006), lot 193.
