Appealing MS65 1857 Flying Eagle
1857 1C MS65 NGC. Considerable eye appeal is the hallmark of this sharp Gem coin, with mostly red surfaces on each side. A couple of infrequent flecks of carbon fail to detract from the appeal, and the strike is boldly executed. A wispy die crack joins the eagle's head with the rim at about 9 o'clock.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2276, PCGS# 2016, GSID# 15313)
