1857 1C MS65 PCGS. CAC. Satiny mint luster yields mostly tan
patina as usual, though it leans more golden toward the borders.
The strike is sharp, save for minor softness on the tip of the
eagle's tailfeathers. The bowknot is full. The 1857 Flying eagle
cent is one of the two plentiful dates for the short-lived type,
although examples grading finer than MS65 are conditionally rare.
