Description
Sharply Struck, Lustrous
Gem 1857 Flying Eagle Cent
1857 1C MS65 PCGS. CAC. Deep, generous luster is the
hallmark on this 1857 Flying Eagle cent, an issue that can be
difficult to find with that elusive quality. The surfaces are
almond-tan in the center with glimpses of orange-gold near the
rims, and there are no mentionable signs of contact, save for a rim
nick at 3 o'clock on the obverse. The strike is sharp
thoughout.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2276, PCGS# 2016, GSID# 15313)
