Description

1857 Flying Eagle Cent, MS65+
Smooth, Lustrous Surfaces

1857 1C MS65+ PCGS. CAC. Of the three Flying Eagle cent issues, the 1857 is the most frequently seen in high grade, ideal for type representation. Nonetheless, its availability thins considerably above the MS65 grade level. This Plus-designated piece is boldly rendered and displays softly frosted bronze-gold luster that is devoid of noticeable abrasions. PCGS lists only 16 finer examples (7/15).(Registry values: N2998)
