Description

1857 Flying Eagle Cent, MS65
Radiant Luster

1857 1C MS65 PCGS. This is a pleasantly well-struck Flying Eagle cent type coin, although the ATE in STATES and the first A in AMERICA are slightly weak from die grease filling the cavities of the die. Vibrant coppery-gold luster gives each side notable eye appeal, and there are no distinctive abrasions. PCGS lists 17 numerically finer representatives (4/16).(Registry values: N2998)
