1857 Flying Eagle Cent, MS66
None Finer at Both Services
1857 1C MS66 NGC. This is an appealing Premium Gem with
needle-sharp definition, notably on the eagle's head and tail and
the lower wreath. Honey-tan coloration covers both sides, while
orange and sky-blue accents are noted primarily on the obverse.
Radiant mint luster occurs throughout. Flying Eagle cents are a
perennial favorite among collectors, combining both beauty of
design with the desirability of a short-lived type. Census: 15 in
