Description

1858 MS 63 NGC. Large Letters. Powerfully struck, all of the major details stand out boldly against the fields save for the eagle's tail feathers. With pleasing, honey-brown patina and lustrous faces, this coin would easily garner a higher grade were it not for a few scattered carbon spots and a small abrasion in the obverse field above the eagle's head.
From the Litrenta Collection.
