    1858 1C Large Letters MS64 PCGS. Snow-2. STATES OF AMERICA is lightly die doubled toward the rim. Snow writes "quite scarce, only a few seen to date." Well struck for the type, as only the claw and the upper right wreath has even a hint of softer definition. A lustrous golden-brown near-Gem with a small strike-through (as made) near the 1 in the date.
