Gem Large Letters 1858 Cent
High Leaves Reverse
1858 1C Large Letters MS65 PCGS. High Leaves Reverse. Closed
E in ONE. This somewhat prooflike Gem displays lovely pumpkin-gold
obverse toning, bounded by peripheral rose-red and ice-blue. The
reverse is dusky tan-gold. The strike is crisp except on the upper
left portion of the wreath. Marks are absent though a loupe reveals
unimportant carbon. A briefly issued type.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 272V, PCGS# 2019, GSID# 15315)
