Description

Bright, Lustrous MS65 Large Letters 1858 Cent

1858 1C Large Letters MS65 PCGS. High Leaves, Closed E. A sharply struck example of this popular predecessor to the Indian cent. This is a remarkably bright and lustrous example with no obvious impairments on either side. Strike doubling is seen on the digits in the date and peripheral legends, but this should not be confused with the rare S-7 die doubled cent.(Registry values: N2998)
