Widely Rotated Dies
1858 1C Large Letters--Rotated Dies--MS65 NGC. CAC. Low
Leaves Reverse. Open E in ONE. The dies are rotated 90 degrees CCW
from usual coin turn. The fields are medium olive-green, while the
borders are peach-red. The strike is intricate, and both sides
appear pristine aside from inconspicuous thin marks east and north
of the O in ONE.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 272V, PCGS# 2019, GSID# 15315)
