Description
Near Gem 1858 Flying Eagle Cent
1858 MS 64 PCGS. Small Letters. Satiny-brown, with a light haze of toning on both sides. The color is nice and original and the surfaces are in superb shape. Well struck from zealously polished dies, resulting in some fading of details on the reverse wreath. A small planchet depression is noted on the reverse in the field below NT of CENT. All in all, this coin looks very nice, has good eye appeal, and has a fresh, original appearance seldom seen.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2279, PCGS# 2020, GSID# 15316)
