Lustrous 1858 Small Letters Gem Cent
1858 1C Small Letters MS65 PCGS. Low Leaves Reverse, Closed E in ONE. Both sides display lustrous tan-gold surfaces that are devoid of significant contact marks. Excellent detail is apparent on the design elements, resulting from a much better strike than is typical for this issue. Just the smallest hint of softness occurs on portions of the eagle's breast.
