1858 Overdate Flying Eagle Cent, ANACS Certified
1858/7 MS 62 ANACS. The upper right corner of the 7 is just barely visible, but the die dot above the date is plain as is the broken wing tip of the eagle. Weakly struck on the reverse, as are many 1857 cents. Each side has a peculiar vertical streakiness, somewhat resembling the "woodgrain" effect seen on later date cents.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2276, PCGS# 2022, GSID# 15322)
